Solid path into international remote work
Pesto Tech gave me the structure and accountability I needed to break into a global remote engineering role. The technical sessions were practical and directly relevant to interviews. It would be five stars if the early-stage communication about timelines had been a bit clearer.
Pros
Practical, interview-focused training
Cons
Timeline communication unclear early on

Good value recruiting suite
For our growing company Jobvite struck a nice balance between features and cost, covering sourcing, tracking, and candidate communication. Support has been responsive whenever we needed configuration help. The one thing I would improve is the mobile experience for hiring managers on the go.

Decent TV but the speakers let it down
The TCL panel itself is sharp and colours are punchy, and setup was painless. However the built-in speakers are weak and tinny, so I had to add a soundbar to make it watchable for films. Good value if you factor in extra audio, but a mixed bag out of the box.

Decent set but inconsistent local dimming
The Vizio television looks excellent in bright scenes but the local dimming creates noticeable blooming around subtitles at night. The smart features are fine and the price was fair. It's a genuinely mixed experience that depends a lot on what you're watching.

Solid fitness tracking, frustrating sync
The fitness wearable tracks my heart rate and sleep reliably and the build quality is excellent. However, it intermittently fails to sync with my phone and I lose a workout now and then. When it works it's great, but the syncing genuinely tests my patience.

Good time-pass app for the daily commute
I use Hike's casual app to kill time on the metro and it does the job nicely with quick, bite-sized fun. It doesn't drain my battery and the download size is small. The only thing I'd change is adding a way to play offline, since my signal drops in the tunnels. Otherwise a solid little app.

Quick news in 60 words is perfect for my commute
Inshorts gives me the gist of the day's headlines without the clickbait and endless scrolling. The 60-word summaries are genuinely well written and I can clear through twenty stories in a few minutes on the train. I just wish a few more regional stories made it into the feed.

RummyCircle is fun, KYC could be smoother
I have enjoyed playing on RummyCircle and the gameplay feels fair with a good range of tables. My one complaint is that the KYC and verification process at signup was more tedious than it needed to be. Once I was through, the experience has been smooth.

Good value and easy to use
The interface is clean and getting a notarised affidavit drafted was quicker than I expected. Pricing is reasonable compared to a local advocate for the same document. My only gripe is that the delivery of the physical stamped copy took longer than the estimate they showed at checkout.

Excellent GRC platform for our security team
Scrut Automation gave us a single window to manage SOC 2, ISO 27001 and our internal risk register, which used to live in scattered spreadsheets. The control library is thorough and the automated evidence collection across our cloud accounts saved weeks. The onboarding team in India was responsive and genuinely helpful.

API works but docs left us guessing
We integrated Kaleyra's SMS and WhatsApp APIs into our app and while messages do go out, the documentation was thin and outdated in places. Our developers burned days reverse-engineering error codes that should have been documented. The service is fine once it's running, getting there was the disappointment.

Replaced three tools with one affordable platform
Switching to Brevo let us drop separate email, SMS and contact-management subscriptions and consolidate everything in one place. The automation flows trigger reliably and our transactional emails land quickly. For a growing business watching costs, it has been a genuinely smart move and the support has been responsive.

Item never arrived and dispute dragged on
Let down badly this time. I paid for a bag including buyer protection, the seller marked it shipped, but it never arrived and the tracking showed it had never moved. Opening a dispute meant waiting over a week for a resolution and chasing support repeatedly. I did get refunded eventually, but the process was far more stressful than it should have been.

Smooth Europe group tour, just a packed itinerary
Booked the 12-day Europe group tour with SOTC and the coordination was excellent from visa help to airport transfers. Hotels were clean and the tour manager was always reachable. Only gripe is the days felt over-scheduled, so we were rushing between sights more than I'd like.

Voucher would not redeem at the attraction
Booked a theme park ticket on Klook but the QR code was rejected at the entrance and staff had no record of it. I spent nearly an hour on chat support while my family waited outside in the heat. It was eventually sorted but the stress on the day was the opposite of what I paid for.

Great value, occasional slow couriers
Meituan's prices and discounts are hard to beat, and most orders are quick. During peak lunch hours though, I've had a few deliveries run quite late. For the savings I get, I'm still very happy to keep using it.

No-show and money stuck
I booked a deep cleaning service on Timesaverz and paid in advance, but no one showed up at the scheduled time. After multiple calls I was told the professional was unavailable and given no clear alternative. The refund took far too long to process. A waste of my morning.
Cons
No-show after prepayment, slow refund

Small size, light on battery
Cons
No offline mode

Crisp summaries, no clutter
Cons
Limited regional coverage

PUBG Mobile runs flawlessly even on mid-range phones
Tencent Games knows how to optimize. PUBG Mobile runs smooth on my three-year-old phone and the anti-cheat has improved a lot over the past year. The seasonal content keeps things fresh without forcing you to pay to win.
Pros
Great optimization, fair seasons

Esports investment that actually shows
Tencent pours real money into the competitive scene and you can feel it in the production of their tournaments. The mobile titles have console-level graphics and the live ops never feel stale. Honestly the gold standard for live-service publishing.

Fair, enjoyable rummy gameplay

Tedious verification process
Pros
Affordable, simple interface
Cons
Physical copy delivery was slow

Best night's sleep I've had in years
Absolutely thrilled with my Sleepwell dual-comfort mattress. One side is firm for my husband and the softer side suits me perfectly, so no more arguing over comfort. It arrived rolled neatly, expanded within hours, and the showroom staff were genuinely knowledgeable when I visited beforehand. Worth every rupee.
Pros
Dual firmness, expands fast, knowledgeable staff

Strong platform, fees add up on spot
I use Bybit mainly for perpetuals and the experience is excellent — tight spreads, reliable execution and good copy-trading options. The reason it's four stars is that spot trading fees feel a touch higher than I'd like compared to the derivatives side. Still a very capable global exchange.
Pros
Great derivatives experience
Cons
Spot fees on the higher side
Pros
Great tour manager and visa support
Cons
Itinerary a bit too packed

Found a gem of a homestay in the hills
Stayzilla connected us with an absolutely stunning homestay in the hills near Munnar, complete with home-cooked meals and a warm family running it. The booking was smooth and the price unbeatable. This is exactly the kind of authentic stay big hotel chains can't offer.
Pros
Authentic experience and unbeatable price
Pros
Issue was refunded eventually
Cons
Voucher failed to scan at the gate
Pros
Excellent value and discounts
Cons
Slow during peak hours

Good selection, smooth payment
I like that Jahez supports Mada and Apple Pay so checkout is quick, and the restaurant choice across the Gulf is solid. Tracking could be a little more precise, but overall it's a dependable app I'm happy to use.
Pros
Easy payment options, solid choice
Cons
Tracking not very precise

Great core, but design customisation is limited
I genuinely like Thinkific for selling my courses, and the back end is reliable and easy to manage. The frustration is the limited design flexibility on the site themes, so my pages look a little similar to everyone else's without buying into code edits. Good platform overall, just wish the front-end was more customisable.
