Reliable for serious property seekers
As someone relocating to Abu Dhabi, Dubizzle was my go-to for finding a family villa. The map view and the price-per-sqft details helped me compare neighbourhoods properly. Agents responded quickly and I never felt the listings were stale.
Pros
Detailed property info and map search

Terraform transformed our infrastructure work
HashiCorp's Terraform let us manage our entire cloud infrastructure as code, so environments are now reproducible and reviewable in pull requests. The ecosystem of providers covers everything we use. My only minor frustration is that state file management across teams still needs careful discipline.

Great service, delivery slots fill up fast
Ocado's quality and packing are excellent and I love being able to see exactly what's coming. My only frustration is that popular evening and weekend slots book out days ahead, so I have to plan my shop earlier than I'd like. Still well worth it for the freshness.

Strong fit for senior independent experts
Flexing It connected me with a corporate client looking for exactly my advisory skill set, and the engagement was professionally managed. The rate guidance was especially helpful when negotiating. One minor gripe is that the dashboard could surface new matches more proactively.

Mis-sold a plan I didn't fully understand
I was sold a Shriram Life savings policy by an agent who downplayed the premium commitment and lock-in, and I only realised the long payment term after signing. Surrendering early meant a steep loss. I feel the product was pushed without proper disclosure and it has cost me dearly.
OBS Studio runs my entire streaming and recording setup with scenes, sources, overlays and audio mixing, all for free. The scene transitions look professional and once configured it records flawless 1080p60. That something this powerful costs nothing still amazes me every time I go live.

Good network for online orders
Most of my online purchases ship via ZTO Express and the wide depot network means there is usually a pickup point close to me. Deliveries are generally on time and the cost keeps prices down. My only gripe is that the last-mile notification sometimes arrives after the parcel is already at the locker.

Reliable carpooling with a minor app glitch
BlaBlaCar got me home comfortably and I'd use it again. The driver rating system helped me pick someone trustworthy. The app did freeze once during payment and I had to retry, but the booking went through fine in the end.

Average experience, nothing stood out
Anjuke did the job for browsing apartments but it never wowed me. Some prices seemed out of date and the photos on a few listings were clearly older than the current condition. It is a fine starting point but I cross-checked everything elsewhere.

Surprisingly detailed for Indian roads and POIs
MapmyIndia knows Indian addresses, lanes, and house numbers far better than the global apps I used to rely on. It found a narrow gully address that others couldn't even locate. The offline maps and clear turn instructions make it my default for city driving now.

Marvel Rivals was a pleasant surprise
NetEase put out a hero shooter that is genuinely polished and fun to play with friends. The character roster is varied and balance patches come quickly. I just wish the in-game store prices were a touch more reasonable.

Made commercial property investing genuinely accessible
Strata is exactly what a small investor like me needed. I now own a fraction of a Grade A office building that would have been impossible to buy outright. The onboarding was clean, the property documents were transparent, and the rental credits arrived in my account. Thrilled with the platform.
Pros
Access to Grade A assets, transparent documents
Pros
Reproducible IaC, huge provider ecosystem
Cons
State management needs care
Happy with the remodel, sales process was pushy
The actual bathroom renovation from Five Star Bath Solutions came out lovely and the installers did clean, careful work. My one complaint is the initial sales appointment felt high pressure with same-day discount tactics. Once we got past that, the project itself was a good experience.
Pros
Quality renovation and careful install
Cons
High-pressure sales pitch
Pros
Excellent quality and freshness
Cons
Popular delivery slots sell out quickly
Affordable competitor research that mostly delivers
SpyFu gives me a solid window into competitors' organic and paid keywords for a fraction of what the big platforms charge. The historical ad copy archive is genuinely useful for understanding a rival's messaging over time. My only gripe is the UI feels a bit dated, but the value is hard to argue with.
Pros
Great price, useful historical PPC and ad-copy data
Cons
Interface feels dated
Good earnings, but ad density is a balancing act
There's a lot to like here, the payouts beat my old network and the reporting is detailed. But I keep going back and forth on the ad load, push it for revenue and bounce rate creeps up, dial it down and earnings dip. The full-service model is convenient but you still have to babysit the settings to keep readers happy. A genuine mixed bag for me.
Pros
Higher payouts, detailed reporting
Cons
Constant tradeoff between revenue and reader experience
Trusted brand but delivery timings are erratic
Apollo Pharmacy is my go-to for branded medicines because I trust the authenticity. In-store experience is solid, but their online delivery has been all over the place for me, sometimes same day, other times pushed by two days with no update. The pharmacy itself is reliable; the logistics need work.
Pros
Authentic medicines, trusted brand
Cons
Inconsistent online delivery times
Pros
Serious clients and useful rate guidance
Cons
Match notifications could be better
Cons
Mis-selling, hidden lock-in and surrender loss
Pros
Powerful, free, professional output
Pros
Wide network, low cost, usually on time
Cons
Delayed last-mile notifications
Pros
Trustworthy ratings system
Cons
Occasional app glitch
Reliable for domestic flights
I use Almosafer regularly for Riyadh to Jeddah trips and the app is clean and quick to book. Loyalty points add up nicely too. I'd give five stars if the customer service phone line didn't keep me on hold for so long the one time I needed it.
Pros
Quick booking and useful loyalty points
Cons
Long phone hold times
Pros
Wide coverage of areas
Cons
Outdated prices and photos
No contracts and solid speeds
What sold me on Spectrum was no annual contract and no data caps, and the internet has held up nicely for streaming and remote work. Install was on time and the modem was ready to go. I just wish the upload speed on my tier was a little higher.
Pros
No contracts or data caps
Cons
Upload speed could be better
Gets the job done, nothing special
SimplyHired is a perfectly serviceable job search engine. I found a few relevant postings and the interface is clean enough. It doesn't stand out from the dozens of similar sites though, and the freshness of some listings was questionable. Average experience, no complaints but no wow factor.
Pros
Clean, functional interface
Cons
Doesn't differentiate from similar sites
Good idea, still maturing
Contra's commission-free approach is exactly what freelancers need and I respect the mission. In practice though, the platform still feels young — a few features I expected were missing and discovery isn't as strong as more established marketplaces. I'm rooting for it, but it's a work in progress.
Pros
Fair pricing model
Cons
Feature set and discovery still developing
Pros
Excellent local address accuracy, offline maps
Pros
Polished, fun hero shooter with quick patches
Cons
Store prices feel a bit high
Solid service, app can be sluggish
Yemeksepeti delivers reliably and the restaurant variety is brilliant. The one drag is the app occasionally lags when loading menus during busy hours, which tests my patience. Beyond that, a really dependable platform.
Pros
Reliable, great variety
Cons
App lags at peak times
Possession delayed beyond the promised date
We booked a Casagrand apartment partly because of the committed possession timeline, but it slipped by several months with limited proactive updates from their side. Paying rent while waiting was stressful. The home itself is decent, but the delay and the patchy communication around it left us disappointed.
Cons
Possession delay and poor communication

Absolutely worth it for busy households
Between work and kids we'd let cleaning slide, and Merry Maids turned that around completely. Our cleaner is meticulous, gets into the details like window sills and skirting, and the recurring schedule means I never have to think about it. Cannot recommend them enough.
Pros
Meticulous, hands-off recurring service
Great concept, tough for rural players
I love the idea behind Niantic's games but living in a small town means very few stops and almost no raids nearby. When I visit a city the game comes alive, which shows the potential. It is genuinely mixed depending entirely on where you live.
