Termite treatment gave us real peace of mind
We bought an older home and Terminix did a full termite inspection and treatment with a clear warranty. The technician walked us through the bait stations and what to watch for. A year on, the follow-up visits have been on time and reassuring. Worth every penny.
Pros
Detailed termite treatment, reliable follow-ups

Useful but mixed bag of tradespeople
Checkatrade is genuinely useful for shortlisting local trades, and I appreciate that members are checked. But the quality really varies; my roofer was excellent while a decorator from the same site cancelled twice last minute. The vetting helps but it does not guarantee the experience, so still do your own homework.

Saved me from countless spam calls every single day
Truecaller has become non-negotiable on my phone. The number it shows for unknown callers is almost always accurate, and the spam tagging catches those fake loan and KYC scam calls before I even pick up. The automatic SMS spam filtering is a bonus I didn't expect to love this much.

Insane value and money goes to good causes
Picked up a bundle of fifteen games plus DRM-free books for less than the price of one full title, and a chunk went to a charity I actually care about. Keys delivered instantly to my Steam library. This is the best deal in gaming when the lineup is right.

Ad quality has gotten genuinely harmful
The popunders being served now are full of fake virus alerts, sketchy crypto schemes and forced redirects that hijack the back button on mobile. My bounce rate spiked and a couple of regular users emailed me thinking my site was hacked. I expect some intrusive ads with pops but this crossed into malware-adjacent territory and I had to pull the code.

Beautiful project, customer support could be quicker
We are genuinely happy with our Puravankara home, the location and construction are excellent and the community is well planned. The only area that needs improvement is the responsiveness of customer care for post-possession queries, which sometimes took a few reminders. A small gripe in an otherwise great experience.

Community days are pure magic
Niantic nails the live event format. Hundreds of trainers gathering in the park for a community day is something no other game offers. The remote raid passes also made it easier to play with friends in other cities.

Great events, app needs work
The actual tournaments ESL organises are first class with strong anti-cheat and fair seeding. The companion app for following brackets and notifications is clunky though and crashes now and then. Fix the app and this is a five-star operation.

Good range but delivery windows are vague
Otto has a strong selection of furniture and electronics and the invoice payment option is convenient. My experience was mixed because while the sofa I ordered was good quality, the delivery window was a vague multi-week estimate and I had to chase for a firm date. The product was worth it, the logistics less so.

Effortless savings with gamified rules
Fi Money's FIT rules turned saving into a habit I actually enjoy, money quietly moves to my jars whenever I hit a rule. The app is fast, the UPI experience is flawless and the insights are spot on. Customer support also sorted a debit query for me within a day. Thoroughly impressed.

Educational value is there, price is steep
There's no denying MEL Science kits are well made and my kids enjoy them. The catch is the monthly cost feels high for what arrives in the box, and the VR sets require their own headset. It's a genuinely good product that I'm just not sure is worth the ongoing price for our family.

Good for onboarding, lighter on resourcing
Rocketlane handles customer onboarding well and the templates speed up kicking off new implementations. Where I'm torn is the resource management and capacity planning, which feel thinner than a dedicated PSA. It's a strong fit if onboarding is your main use case, but we still juggle resourcing in another tool.

Handy comparison tool, calls were frequent
PolicyX made comparing health plans across insurers quick and the premium quotes were accurate. The only downside was a flurry of sales calls right after I checked quotes. The platform itself is genuinely useful for narrowing down options before buying.

Great mobile coverage, app a touch slow
My Proximus mobile plan gives me strong 4G and 5G across Belgium and even handles the train tunnels well. Data never runs short on my plan. The MyProximus app occasionally lags when I check usage, but that is a small annoyance against an otherwise good service.

Order arrived leaking and customer care went silent
My moisturiser arrived with a cracked cap and half the product smeared inside the box. I raised a replacement request with photos and got one automated reply, then nothing for two weeks. For a brand that talks so much about being conscious, the after-sales handling was genuinely poor.

Solid trip, pickup point was confusing
Had a smooth ride with BlaBlaCar from one city to the next. The driver was polite and the price was unbeatable. The only hiccup was the agreed pickup point being a little vague, so we wasted ten minutes finding each other in the car park.
Pros
Great price and polite driver
Cons
Vague pickup location
Pros
Great location and construction
Cons
Slow customer support responses

Reliable accounting workhorse for our business
Sage has handled our bookkeeping and payroll dependably for years and the bank reconciliation feature saves our finance team hours each month. The compliance updates for tax changes always arrive on time, which gives peace of mind. My only minor gripe is the interface looks dated next to newer cloud tools.
Pros
Dependable and compliance-ready
Cons
Interface feels dated

Like the car, unsure about the service reach
The C3 Aircross drives well and looks distinctive on the road, which is exactly why I picked Citroen India. But the service centre network is still thin in my city, so I had to drive quite far for the first scheduled service. Torn between loving the car and worrying about long-term upkeep.
Pros
Distinctive design, good drive
Cons
Sparse service network
Pros
Fantastic live events and social play
Pros
Fair seeding, strong anti-cheat
Cons
Buggy companion app

Container held up for days over a billing dispute
Our container sat at the Gateway Distriparks facility for days because of an internal billing mix-up that was not our fault, and the mounting ground rent was nearly passed on to us. Getting someone accountable to resolve it was exhausting. For a logistics operator this lack of ownership was deeply frustrating.
Cons
Billing mix-up caused delays, poor accountability

Dead simple way to send big design files
I send 2GB Photoshop and video files to clients almost daily and the link-based sharing just works without anyone needing to make an account. Upload speeds are solid on my fibre connection and the email notification when someone downloads is genuinely useful. Only gripe is the free tier auto-deletes after a week, so I've had a couple of clients miss the window.
Pros
No account needed for recipients, clean interface, download notifications
Cons
Free transfers expire too quickly

Dashboard transparency I actually trust
What sold me is the real-time dashboard. I can see which demand partner won each bid, what the eCPM was, and how the AI is shifting floors throughout the day. No more guessing where my money comes from.
Pros
Transparent real-time reporting down to the bid level
Pros
Good furniture range, pay-by-invoice option
Cons
Vague delivery scheduling
Pros
Gamified saving, flawless UPI
Pros
Quality materials, real learning
Cons
Expensive for the quantity

Good property research tool, minor verification gap
I used Makaan extensively while shortlisting apartments and the photos and floor plans were detailed. The price trends section is genuinely useful. My only gripe is that one listing did not match the actual flat size on visit, so do verify before deciding. Still a handy portal.
Pros
Detailed photos and floor plans
Cons
One listing detail was inaccurate

Excellent guidance for a first-time investor
As someone new to property investment, Investors Clinic was a huge help. The consultant explained ROI, possession timelines, and resale potential in plain language and arranged hassle-free site visits. I booked an under-construction flat with full confidence. Their hand-holding made all the difference.
Pros
Clear guidance, hassle-free site visits
Pros
Strong onboarding templates
Cons
Resource planning is underdeveloped
Pros
Accurate, quick quote comparisons
Cons
Too many follow-up calls
Pros
Strong nationwide mobile signal
Cons
App can be sluggish
Cons
Damaged delivery, no real support response

Diagnostic fee felt steep for what we got
Aire Serv charged a diagnostic fee just to tell us the thermostat needed replacing, then quoted a part I later found for a fraction of the price at a hardware store. The work itself was fine but the markup on a simple job left a bad taste.
