Convenient on-demand home help
Zimmber is genuinely useful when you need a cleaner or handyman at short notice. The pest control visit I booked was thorough and the technician was professional. The minor downside is the occasional gap between the slot you book and when they actually confirm a person.
Pros
Professional technician, convenient booking
Cons
Confirmation can be slow

Best cleaning service I've used
Helpling matched me with a meticulous cleaner who pays attention to the little things, like the skirting boards and inside the microwave. The flexibility to book one-off or recurring cleans suits my unpredictable schedule perfectly. Transparent pricing and secure in-app payment make the whole thing effortless.

Navigation took me down a road that doesn't exist
I trusted MapmyIndia for a long highway drive and it routed me onto a road that had been closed for months, then failed to reroute quickly. The map data felt outdated for the smaller towns I passed through. For a homegrown mapping product I expected fresher coverage.

Good resale search with minor quirks
For finding a second-hand home, Anjuke gave me plenty of options and the neighbourhood data was handy. The agent I worked with was responsive and honest. My only small frustration was the occasional duplicate listing, but overall a solid experience.

Smooth onboarding workflows, minor mobile gaps
We use Personio to run our entire onboarding checklist and it's been a relief for HR, with documents, contracts and tasks all automated for each new starter. Employees like the self-service portal for requesting leave too. The only thing letting it down is the mobile app, which feels stripped back compared to the web version.

Notifications fire at odd hours and won't quiet down
The summaries are fine but Inshorts pushes breaking-news alerts at 2am and the settings to control frequency barely make a difference. I've tweaked everything and still get buzzed for stories I don't care about. Almost uninstalled over the notification spam.

Reliable source of legit remote roles
I check We Work Remotely weekly and it consistently has real, fully remote openings rather than hybrid roles in disguise. The categories make it easy to jump straight to dev jobs. I'd love a way to save searches and get instant alerts, but otherwise it does the job well.

Karma and streaks keep me consistent
I love how Todoist gamifies productivity with karma points and completion streaks; it genuinely nudges me to clear my list. Recurring tasks and the today view are exactly what I need each morning. Only small gripe is the widget on Android occasionally takes a moment to refresh. Still my daily driver.

Good intentions but execution is inconsistent
GoBOLT's EV-based logistics model is exactly what our supply chain needed on paper, and when things go right the cost and emissions savings are real. But scheduling has been hit or miss, with two of our planned pickups pushed by a day without much notice. I am torn because the vision is great but reliability needs work.

Shortening links takes seconds, payments never delayed
What I love is how simple the bulk shortener and the full-page script are. I paste a list, get monetized links instantly, and drop them in my Telegram channel. Three payouts so far through bank transfer and every one landed on schedule. For a small file-sharing setup like mine this just works.

Pros
Thorough cleaning, flexible scheduling
Pros
Good city-level detail
Cons
Outdated routes, slow rerouting
Weeks of delay on a simple company registration
RegisterKaro promised a quick private limited incorporation but it dragged on for over six weeks with constant excuses about government processing. Half my documents had to be resubmitted because their team filed them with errors. For a startup waiting to open a bank account, this delay was genuinely costly.
Cons
Long delays and filing errors
Short-shipped again this month
Another WayCool order came in short, with two SKUs missing entirely and no proactive heads-up. We had to source those locally at higher cost. The delivered goods were fine, but repeated shortfalls in an agri-supply contract make planning impossible. Need this fixed.
Pros
Delivered items were fine
Cons
Repeated short shipments
Informative kit, results took a while
The 23andMe experience was smooth overall and the health and ancestry reports were genuinely eye-opening, especially the genetic trait explanations. Registering the kit was simple. The only downside was that processing took closer to five weeks, longer than the estimate, and the emails didn't keep me well informed during the wait.
Pros
Eye-opening reports, simple registration
Cons
Longer processing time than estimated
Best place to start a flat search in Germany
ImmobilienScout24 had the most listings by far when I was hunting in Berlin. The filters for Kaltmiete and Warmmiete are handy and the SCHUFA upload feature saved time with applications. Competition is fierce so you must be quick, but the portal itself is excellent.
Pros
Massive listing pool, useful filters
Cons
Free tier limits visibility
Pros
Helpful neighbourhood data
Cons
Occasional duplicate listings
Pros
Automated onboarding and self-service
Cons
Mobile app feels limited

Spotless facilities and a team that cares
The ISS World cleaning crew at our headquarters is fantastic. Floors, washrooms and breakout areas are always immaculate, and the supervisor proactively flags anything that needs attention. It's rare to find a facility services provider this consistent across every shift.
Pros
Immaculate facilities, proactive supervision
Solid seasonal cleanup with a small snag
Booked The Grounds Guys for a fall cleanup and they did a thorough job clearing leaves and trimming back the beds. The yard looked great afterward. The only hiccup was that the invoice came in slightly higher than the verbal estimate, which they did explain when I asked.
Pros
Thorough seasonal cleanup
Cons
Invoice exceeded the estimate
Pros
Decent summaries
Cons
Uncontrollable, late-night notifications

Flawless Europe holiday package
Thomas Cook India organised our family trip across three European countries and every transfer, hotel and excursion was exactly as promised. The tour manager was knowledgeable and handled a last-minute weather change without us lifting a finger. From booking to return, it was the most stress-free holiday we've taken.
Pros
Well-organised, attentive tour manager
Pros
Genuine remote roles, easy categories
Cons
No saved-search alerts
Great vernacular games, too many notifications
WinZO has a nice mix of casual games and I love that they support multiple Indian languages, which my parents appreciate. The downside is the constant stream of notifications and bonus reminders that I had to switch off. Fun platform but the nudging is excessive.
Pros
Good vernacular language support
Cons
Excessive notifications
Pros
Motivating karma system, great today view
Cons
Android widget lag
Good variety of skill games, ads interrupt flow
MPL packs a lot of skill-based games into one app and the cash tournaments are quick to join. I have had a good run with the carrom and pool games. The only nuisance is the frequency of ads and promo popups between matches.
Pros
Wide variety of games
Cons
Frequent ads and popups
Pros
Sustainable model, decent pricing
Cons
Inconsistent pickup scheduling

Brilliant range and reliable delivery
What keeps me with Ocado is the sheer range, from everyday staples to specialty items I can't find elsewhere, all delivered in one tidy order. The drivers are punctual and friendly, and the best-before date guarantee means I rarely get anything close to expiry. Top marks.
Pros
Huge range and dependable drivers
Great expertise but felt like a small client
The legal advice from Baker McKenzie was genuinely excellent and the partners were sharp on the cross-border issues we faced. However, as a mid-size company we sometimes felt deprioritised behind their larger accounts, with slower responses than we would have liked. Torn, because the substance was strong but the attentiveness was inconsistent.
Pros
Excellent substantive legal advice
Cons
Felt deprioritised as a smaller client

Best sell-side partner we've worked with
PubMatic's demand quality is excellent and our fill rates climbed steadily after switching. The reporting gives us real transparency into which buyers are bidding and at what price. Their team proactively flagged optimization opportunities we hadn't even noticed.
Pros
High demand quality, transparent reporting
Pros
Instant bulk link creation, on-time bank payments, easy Telegram sharing

Reliable backbone for our whole campus
Instructure's Canvas underpins our entire teaching operation and it handles the load impressively well. Integration with our other systems was smooth and the analytics help us spot students who are falling behind early. The support team has been responsive whenever we needed configuration help. Couldn't run our courses without it.
Pros
Scales well, strong integrations, helpful support
Helpful advisory, fee structure took explaining
The advisory side of Marcus & Millichap was genuinely useful when we were evaluating whether to hold or sell our retail center. Their financing arm also helped us understand debt options. My one gripe is the commission and fee breakdown wasn't crystal clear upfront and took a few conversations to fully grasp.
