Shea butter hand cream is iconic for a reason
L'Occitane's shea butter hand cream has saved my cracked winter hands for years and a tiny dab lasts through several hand washes. The Provençal ingredients feel rich and nourishing without any greasiness. It's a classic I will keep repurchasing forever, simply the best.
Pros
deeply nourishing, long lasting, non-greasy

Reporting fell short of expectations
We picked Jobvite partly for analytics but found the standard reports too shallow for the insights our leadership wanted. Building anything custom required workarounds and exports into spreadsheets. The core ATS is fine, but the reporting gap was a real disappointment for us.

Love the look, mixed on the substance
The Nothing phone is gorgeous and the software is refreshingly clean, but the camera lags behind rivals in low light and the chipset isn't quite flagship grade. For the design and experience I'm tempted to stay, yet I keep wishing the hardware matched the hype. Genuinely torn on whether to upgrade or look elsewhere.

Compression ratio fell behind free alternatives
I upgraded my licence expecting better results but the RAR compression on my large photo folders was barely smaller than the free tools my colleague uses. For the price I expected more, and the interface looks like it hasn't changed in a decade. Disappointed given the reputation.

Good service, delivery windows are wide
Booking corporate catering through ezCater is straightforward and the food has been consistently good for our events. Support was helpful when I needed to adjust a headcount. My small complaint is the delivery time windows can be broad, so we build in buffer. Happy customer on the whole.

Solid partner, paperwork can drag
We value Hannover Re for their financial strength and the technical quality of their reinsurance teams. The relationship has been positive overall and claims under our health treaty were handled fairly. Contract documentation does sometimes take longer to finalise than I would like.

PDFelement replaced my expensive PDF software
Wondershare PDFelement does everything I needed from pricier PDF tools at a fraction of the cost. Editing text, merging files, and filling forms all just work, and the OCR on my scanned documents was accurate. For a small office this has been a brilliant find.

Best analytics for tracking my exam prep
What sets Oliveboard apart for me is the post-test analytics. After every banking mock it breaks down my accuracy, time spent per section and weak topics so clearly that I knew exactly what to fix. The GK podcast and live strategy sessions were a great bonus. Genuinely helped me improve scores week over week.

Solid platform for scaling sales training
MindTickle made it possible to onboard and continuously train a growing sales team without our enablement function drowning. The content authoring is flexible and reps actually complete the modules. It would be a five-star if the mobile app were as smooth as the web version, but it's a strong tool.

Great coverage, app could be smoother
I've been on KT mobile for a couple of years and the 5G coverage around Seoul and even out in Gangwon is excellent. Billing is clear and the prepaid top-up works without fuss. My only small complaint is the self-service app logs me out too often and I have to re-authenticate.

Good work but the quote and the bill didn't match
Mr. Handyman fixed a sagging gutter and patched some drywall and the actual craftsmanship was solid. The frustration was the final invoice came in well above the estimate because of hourly billing I hadn't fully understood. Decent work, but I'd nail down the costs in writing next time.

Great games, slightly aggressive promo notifications
Junglee Rummy is well built and I trust the fairness of the tables. The only thing that nudges this down to four stars is the volume of promotional push notifications and emails about cash offers. The core product is excellent, I just wish they'd ease off on the marketing.

Cutscenes outstayed their welcome for me
I respect Hideo Kojima's vision, but Death Stranding buried the gameplay under hours of exposition I struggled to follow. I came to play, not watch a film, and the constant interruptions wore me down. Not the experience I hoped for.

Opaque hotel deal backfired badly
I booked a Hotwire Hot Rate hotel to save money and ended up far from the area I wanted, in a property with poor reviews I couldn't see until after paying. Because the booking was non-refundable I was stuck with it. The discount wasn't worth landing somewhere I'd never have chosen.

Good doctors, mixed feelings on cost and crowds
We've taken both our kids to Rainbow and the specialists are genuinely good with children. The women's-health side helped my wife during pregnancy too. But it gets very busy and feels expensive for routine visits. The quality is there, I'm just not always sure it's worth the premium for minor issues.

Finally a store that respects the buyer
No DRM, offline backups, and a refund policy that actually works in your favour. I bought Cyberpunk and a stack of old RPGs here and every single one downloaded cleanly with no account lock-in. GOG has earned my loyalty completely.
Pros
Ownership-first, clean downloads, fair refunds
Okay platform, advisory quality varies
Probus Insurance is a reasonable way to buy through an advisor, and the plan I got was suitable. That said, I felt the depth of advice was a little surface-level compared to what I had hoped for. Functional, but not outstanding. I am sitting on the fence.
Pros
Suitable plan selection
Cons
Surface-level advice
Great coverage, paperwork could be smoother
Hippo gave me solid home coverage at a competitive price and the smart sensors are a nice bonus. The dashboard makes it easy to see what's protected. My only complaint is that uploading documents during setup glitched a couple of times and I had to redo it.
Pros
Competitive price, useful smart-home kit
Cons
Document upload was buggy
Cons
Shallow native reporting
Pros
Striking design, clean OS
Cons
Average low-light camera, mid-tier chip
Cons
Weak compression for the price, dated UI

The Vault Hunter experience is unmatched
I have replayed the Borderlands campaigns more times than I can count and Gearbox keeps the loot loop addictive every single run. The art style holds up beautifully and the boss fights are genuinely memorable. Top-tier developer.
Pros
Iconic art style, addictive loot loop
Indispensable for backpacking
As a backpacker, Rome2Rio is one of my most-used tools. It instantly tells me whether a bus, train, or ferry is the way to go and roughly what it'll cost. Wish the app would let me save trips offline, but the core search is genuinely excellent.
Pros
Quick comparisons across modes
Cons
No offline trip saving
Pros
Helpful support, consistent food
Cons
Wide delivery windows
Strong concept, limited inventory in my city
I like the idea behind PropReturns and the financial breakdowns on each property are professionally done. The catch for me was that most quality listings were concentrated in a few metros, with little in my region. Worth watching as they grow, but inventory was a constraint.
Pros
Professional financial breakdowns
Cons
Sparse inventory outside major metros
Pros
Financial strength, fair claims
Cons
Contract paperwork slow
Pros
Affordable, capable PDF editing and OCR

Saved us in New York
We grabbed last-minute Top of the Rock tickets and a harbour cruise through Headout and both were cheaper and faster than queuing. The app is clean and the support chat answered my question about timing in minutes. Genuinely impressed with how smooth it was.
Pros
Fast support and clean app
Pros
Excellent analytics and live sessions
Pros
Scales sales onboarding effectively
Cons
Mobile app less polished
Pros
Wide 5G coverage
Cons
App keeps logging out
Good for hourly gigs but lots of expired posts
Snagajob is built for the kind of hourly and shift work I was after, and I did find a few local openings. The annoying part was applying to several listings that turned out to be already filled or expired. When the postings are current it's a useful resource.
Pros
Focused on hourly and shift work
Cons
Several expired listings
Pros
Quality repairs
Cons
Bill exceeded the estimate
Pros
Well-built, fair gameplay
Cons
Too many promotional notifications
Pros
Strong production values
Cons
Overlong cutscenes, thin gameplay stretches
Good Singapore package, booking process slow
Overall a happy experience with Cox & Kings for our Singapore-Malaysia trip. The destination management was smooth and the included attractions were worth it. My only complaint is that the booking and document process over email was slower than I'd have liked.
