Great for volunteering, jobs section a touch thin
Idealist is my first stop whenever I want to volunteer for a cause I care about; the listings are genuinely diverse and well organized. The paid jobs are solid too, though in my region there were fewer of them than I expected. Still a fantastic resource for anyone in the social sector.
Pros
Excellent volunteer listings, mission-aligned
Cons
Fewer paid roles in some regions

Surge protector failed during a storm
I bought a Belkin surge protector specifically to guard my electronics, but during the first real storm it failed to protect my router, which got fried. For a product whose entire job is protection, that's a serious letdown. The warranty claim has been slow and frustrating.

Customizable checklist sounded better than it worked
I chose MaidPro specifically for the customizable cleaning checklist, but the cleaner ignored half the items I'd flagged as priorities. The fridge and inside windows were on my list and neither got touched. When the whole selling point is customization, missing the customizations is a real letdown.

Quote went up after booking
The initial AnyVan quote looked great but once I described the access and stairs properly the price jumped quite a bit. The transporter that turned up also seemed rushed and a bit careless with my bookshelf, which now has a chipped corner. Mixed feelings about using the marketplace again.

Good office move, minor delay
AllTimePackers handled our office relocation reasonably well. The crew packed computers and files carefully and labelled the cartons by desk. Nothing was damaged. The only issue was they started loading later than scheduled, which pushed the whole day back a bit.

Understaffed for the scope we agreed
Servest won our catering and cleaning contract on a good proposal but the actual staffing didn't match what was promised. The canteen queues got long at peak times and the cleaning rotation fell behind. Disappointed given the expectations set during onboarding.

Great scanner, occasional false alarms
As an on-demand scanner Malwarebytes is fantastic and pairs well alongside my main antivirus. It finds tracking cookies and PUPs reliably and the interface is clean. It loses a star because it occasionally flags legitimate software I installed as suspicious, which means extra clicks to whitelist things.

AutoCAD remains the industry standard for good reason
Our architecture firm runs on AutoCAD and it handles our most complex drawings without hiccups. The precision tools and the sheer compatibility with consultants make collaboration painless. My only gripe is the subscription cost keeps creeping up each renewal, which stings for a small practice.

The whole Proton ecosystem won me over
Starting with ProtonMail, I now use the calendar, drive, and VPN too, all under one privacy-focused account. Everything is encrypted and the integration is seamless. As someone who cares about not being the product, this service has been exactly what I was looking for.

Competitive CS the way it should be
For serious Counter-Strike, FACEIT is essential. The 128-tick servers feel crisp, the ranking system is granular, and the community tournaments give amateurs a real ladder to climb. I've improved more here in months than in years of casual play.

Long-time player with mixed feelings now
I've sunk countless hours into Wargaming's titles and still enjoy the core combat. But recent balance changes and the push toward premium content have made me question how much I want to keep investing. The games are great, the direction lately leaves me genuinely undecided.

Mixed experience with express cargo
We use Spoton for express surface shipments and the metro-to-metro service is genuinely quick. However, tracking updates lag behind reality and POD uploads can take a couple of days. It's a workable provider but the visibility side needs to catch up with the physical movement.

Reliable global partner for our air freight
GEODIS has handled our expedited air shipments out of Europe for two years now and they rarely miss a connection. Their visibility tools let me track each leg without calling. Only gripe is the monthly invoicing breaks out accessorial charges in a confusing way that takes time to reconcile.

Parcel sat at depot for over a week
My package with Bring reached the local depot and then just stopped moving for eight days with no explanation on the tracking. Customer service kept saying it was in transit when it clearly wasn't. For a national postal provider this kind of black hole shouldn't happen.

Happy customer, just wish formation were a touch cheaper
I formed my LLC with Northwest and the experience was smooth, with real people answering my questions and my privacy genuinely protected. Everything arrived correctly and on time. My only minor gripe is the formation fee sits a little higher than some budget rivals, though the service quality justifies it.

A genuine win for our global contract operations
Managing contracts across multiple regions used to be chaos until SirionLabs centralised everything. The platform's obligation management and supplier scorecards give our team early warning on risks we used to discover too late. Implementation was substantial, but the control and visibility we gained have absolutely justified it.

Found a long-term VA who's now part of the team
Outsourcely helped me hire a remote assistant who's been with my startup for over a year now. The focus on long-term roles rather than quick gigs really matters — I got someone invested in the work. The interface is a bit dated but the talent quality more than makes up for it.
Pros
Great for long-term remote hires
Cons
Interface feels dated

Landed a fully remote job from the listings here
We Work Remotely is one of the few boards where every single role is genuinely remote, which saved me so much time. I found and accepted a position through it within a month. My only minor gripe is the design is pretty bare-bones and search filters could be more granular.
Pros
Truly all-remote listings
Cons
Basic search and dated design
Cons
Failed to protect during a surge
Cons
Ignored the custom checklist
Cons
Price increased, rushed handling
Pros
Careful with electronics, good labelling
Cons
Late start
Cons
Staffing below agreed levels
Pros
Thorough scanning, clean interface
Cons
Occasional false positives

Excellent detection, minor UI quirks
Kaspersky catches threats that others miss and the scans are genuinely thorough without bogging down my PC. The safe-money feature gives me confidence when banking online. It just misses a fifth star because the interface bundles in promotions and a few settings are buried deeper than they need to be.
Pros
Strong detection, secure banking mode
Cons
Promo clutter and buried settings
Pros
Industry standard, precise, compatible
Cons
Rising subscription cost

Maya is a powerhouse for our animation studio
We produce character animation and Maya from Autodesk gives us the rigging, simulation and rendering depth nothing else matches at this level. The learning curve paid off and the tools scale to feature work. Support for our enterprise licence has been responsive too. Excellent professional software.
Pros
Deep toolset, scales to pro work

Charged for renewal I had already cancelled
I cancelled my Kuku FM subscription well before the renewal date, yet I was still charged for another year. Getting a refund has been a nightmare and the support team keeps redirecting me without resolving anything. Very disappointed with how billing is handled.
Cons
Charged after cancellation, no refund
Pros
Integrated, encrypted ecosystem

Good value but the charity split confuses people
Humble Bundle still offers solid value if you read carefully, but the default slider quietly shifts money toward their cut rather than the charity unless you adjust it. The bundles themselves are fine and I've discovered some great indie games. Just wish the charity messaging was more honest.
Pros
Cheap game bundles, indie discovery
Cons
Charity slider defaults feel sneaky
Pros
High-tick servers, deep ranking

Reliable rummy, just wish there were more low-stakes tables
RummyCulture by Gameskraft has been reliable and the gameplay is smooth, which matters when real money is on the line. My one gripe is that low-stakes tables can get crowded and I often wait for a seat during peak hours. Otherwise a trustworthy platform I keep coming back to.
Pros
Reliable and trustworthy
Cons
Crowded low-stakes tables at peak
Pros
Rich, long-term gameplay
Cons
Balance and monetisation direction
Pros
Fast on metro lanes
Cons
Lagging tracking and slow POD uploads
Pros
Dependable transit times and tracking
Cons
Invoices are hard to read
Cons
Parcel stuck at depot with no updates
Pros
Privacy-focused with real human help
Cons
Formation costs a bit more than rivals
Pros
Centralised global contract visibility

Install numbers looked good until we checked quality
Affle reported a healthy volume of app installs for our acquisition campaign, but when we dug into post-install behavior a worrying share never opened the app a second time. Getting clarity on traffic sources and fraud filtering was harder than it should have been. We paused spend after the data didn't add up.
